The Ortiz Family Foundations is dedicated to helping others complete their pursuit for higher education. Many college students struggle with the financial obligations obstructing their goals. The “Words O.F.F. the Page Aid for Books” program is committed to assisting students in need by providing one $500 gift certificate for two consecutive semesters for a total of $1,000, to their community college book store for the purchase of text books and school supplies. Funds will only be awarded to students attending an Arizona community college (taking 12+ credit hours) with a 3.0 GPA or higher. Join us in the pursuit for higher education by sponsoring a student. For every $1,000 we raise together we can assist another deserving student in achieving their academic goals.

An electronic copy of this application must be received via email prior to the deadline. A printed copy, along with letters of recommendation and transcript must be postmarked no later than June 28, 2010. Late applications will not be considered.
Award recipients will be announced August 2, 2010. Recipients will be notified directly. Non-recipients will not receive direct communication. A list of award recipients will be posted on the Ortiz Family Foundation website: www.ortizfamilyfoundation.com by the end of the business day August 2, 2010.
