We all remember the first days back to school, the new notebooks, pens and pencils. We also remember occasionally having to ask our neighbors to borrow a forgotten item. For some children the embarrassment of asking their neighbors for supplies is an everyday battle. We also remember the excitement of shopping for new clothes to start the school year off new. For some students, that is simply a wish. The Ortiz Family Foundation feels it is important that all children start school equipped to learn and grow. We hope to give the gift of self confidence with something as simple to most as new school clothes. Join us by sponsoring a student in your community. For every $150 you donate to the O.F.F. to School Field Day program, a student in need will have the opportunity to experience a “Field Day” of shopping to get ready to go back to school.
